Please read this notice. Homy is a lead generation service. When you submit a request on this website, we share your information with home improvement contractors and marketing partners, and we may receive payment for it. Under some U.S. state laws this counts as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. You can opt out at any time, as described in Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.

This Privacy Policy explains how Homy-Us.com ("Homy," "we," "us") collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit homy-us.com (the "Website") or submit a request through it. This policy is part of our Terms of Use.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you fill out our form we collect your first and last name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, the type of project you're planning, project details (for example, number of windows or average electric bill), whether you own the home, and your timeline.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Website we and our service providers collect your IP address, device and browser type, pages you view, the website or ad that sent you to us, campaign parameters (such as UTM tags and Facebook or TikTok click IDs), the date and time of your visit, and a record of your consent to be contacted (the consent language shown, the time you agreed and the page you were on).

Information from other sources

We may receive information from advertising platforms, data verification services and our partners, for example to confirm that a phone number is valid or to check it against Do Not Call registries.

2. How we use information

To match your project with contractors and marketing partners who may provide quotes, products or services.
To contact you by phone, text message and email about your request and related home improvement offers, as you agreed.
To verify your information, prevent fraud and fake submissions, and keep a record of your consent.
To measure and improve our advertising and the Website.
To comply with the law and respond to legal requests.

We share the information you submit with the following groups:

Contractors and marketing partners. Home improvement contractors, installers, lenders and marketing companies that may contact you about your project. A list of our partners is on the Partners page. These companies may pay us for your information and use it under their own privacy policies.
Service providers. Companies that host the Website, deliver leads, send calls, texts and emails, verify data or provide analytics. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
Advertising platforms. Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok and Google receive information about your visit through pixels so we can measure and improve our ads.
Legal and safety. When required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect our rights, users or others.
Business transfers. In a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets.

In the past 12 months we may have sold or shared the following categories of personal information: identifiers (name, email, phone, IP address), commercial information (project type and details, homeownership, timeline), internet activity (pages visited, referring ad) and approximate location (ZIP code). We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 18.

4. Calls, texts and your consent

When you click "Get free quotes," you give your express written consent for Homy and its marketing partners to contact you at the number you provided, including by calls and text messages made with automated technology, an artificial or prerecorded voice, or an AI-generated voice, even if your number is on a federal, state or company Do Not Call list. Giving this consent is not a condition of any purchase.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by any reasonable means, for example by replying STOP to a text message, telling a caller you do not want to be contacted, or emailing us at [email protected]. We honor these requests within 10 business days. Withdrawing consent with Homy does not automatically stop partners who already received your information; please tell each partner who contacts you as well.

5. Cookies and advertising pixels

We use cookies, pixels and similar tools, including the Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel and Google tags, to keep the Website working, understand how visitors use it, and show and measure ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of interest-based advertising through the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info) and the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org). We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a request to opt out of sale and sharing for that browser.

Calls and texts: reply STOP to any text, ask a caller to stop, or email us.
Email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.

7. Your state privacy rights

Depending on where you live (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Oregon, Texas, Virginia and other states with consumer privacy laws), you may have the right to:

Know what personal information we collected, sold or shared about you and with whom.
Get a copy of your personal information.
Correct inaccurate personal information.
Delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions (for example, we may keep records of your consent).
Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising.
Appeal our decision on your request.
Not be treated differently for exercising these rights.

We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by these laws. To make a request, email [email protected] with the subject "Privacy Request" and the email and phone number you used on our form. We will verify your identity by matching the information you provide and respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent, who must show written permission from you. To appeal a decision, reply to our response with the subject "Appeal."

8. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

You can tell us not to sell or share your personal information, including for targeted advertising, by emailing [email protected] with the subject "Do Not Sell," or by calling +1 (609) 418-6569. Include the email and phone number you used on our form. You do not need to verify your identity to opt out. We will stop selling and sharing your information within 15 business days. Information already delivered to partners before your request is handled under their own privacy policies.

9. Security and retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes in this policy and to meet legal requirements. We keep records of consent to be contacted for at least five years.

10. Children

The Website is for adults 18 and older who live in the United States. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed. Material changes will be posted on this page before they take effect.
